Movies:
Here's something for those who love souped up cars, including the nitrous oxide. Soon to be released worldwide comes Supercross: The Movie, which captures the sport of the same name. Supercross is the second fastest growing motor sport in the United States, behind NASCAR.
The movie is based around Carlyle brothers, KC (Steve Howey) and Trip (Mike Vogel). The two grow up competing against each other in the sport. Throughout the movie the brothers overcome emotional and physical obstacles to achieve success in the competitive world of Supercross racing. Eventually, KC gets a corporate sponsor deal and hits the big time leaving his little brother behind, which creates a rift between them. Trip is then forced to become a "privateer" rider without a sponsor. Later in the movie Trip gets into a bad crash and the two have to put differences aside and work together to defeat the world's greatest Supercross champions.
Both brothers of course have fine girlfriends. KC has Zoë (Sophia Bush), a law student who has KC's back business wise, while Trip hooks up with Piper (Cameron Richardson), his equal when it comes to mechanic and bike riding skills.
The film features some great race action scenes, hot babes, flashy, expensive bikes and master stunt riders, all which pull the audience into the realistic pulse, adrenaline and excitement of the sport.
Overall Supercross: The Movie has a weak plot and bad dialog, but if you are a bike freak, you'll be able to tolerate that and enjoy the film.
